This Japanese restaurant is not operated by Japanese, but the food is truly Japanese.

We have done both lunch and dinner here. Same food is served but the lunch items are of super value. Miso soup is often served as a bonus. That's why we now always go there for lunch.

The lady manager is probably the owner. She is particularly friendly.

If you look for authentic Japanese food at reasonable price, this is the place you should be after.

Fantastic, authentic Japanese food, good service little on the expensive side nothing like it in the area though.

This was my first experience of a Japanese restaurant and I really liked it. The staff were obliging, the prices were reasonable and they had a good menu to select from. Definitely worth a visit.

This is definitely a default restaurant for me. It has a pretty respectable vegetarian menu and the prices are very reasonable. I also love their selection of Japanese drinks; my favourite is their flavoured iced teas!

Approximate cost: $20

The mood of the restaurant is quite combre with the staff very eager to serve and make you comfortable.

When I went it was an evening meal and the lighting was very dark, almost like a funeral!!!

However the food made upfor it with it being very authentic and worthy of the price though a tad dearer than normal.

I would recommend their Takoyaki

Approximate cost: $20

I went for lunch the other day to Sapporo because i wanted to try something new in Mitcham considering i just moved there. When i walked in the decor was very japanese i saw a couple of lucky cats in the front of house section and very nice paintings on the wall, it was a quite day for them i guess i came at the end of lunch because they asked for me to pay just before i was to have my Miso soup, but they weren't in a rush to close they were just counting the till.
I ordered the Katsu-don there service was very fast undoubtedly because i was the only one in there apart from the four business men who were still eating their Bento boxes which i thought were very large as well as drinking their sake.
When my meal arrived about 5-10 minutes after drinking down my miso soup it came in a nice bowl not like one you'd pick up at like Coles supermarket, it was a large portions and looked really nice. When i had finished my meal i took one last look around, i felt even though i went by myself i enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. i cant wait to for dinner i see what its like when its nice and busy.

I'm not a huge fan of Japanese food but this is awesome. There are more 'western' options available as well as traditional styles and just really tasty. Nice interior too...

This is a new Japanese restaurant. They are very clean and all employees are extremely professional. The food is fresh and magnificent, you can literally see them cooking your dinner and the presentation is more amazing than words can explain. They are well equipped for dinner for two or large groups and cater completely for children and infants.

I also love this restaurant. Often end up here a couple of times a week. The gyoza and wafu steak are amazing and the price is always very reasonable. Highly recommended.
