2 reviews about Sangria Spanish Tapas Bar

Went here recently for dinner with 2 other people. Couldn't have faulted the service. Our waiter was very efficient. We ordered 5 plates and a paella to share. Loved the paella, potatas bravas, meatballs and jamon croquetas. Wasn't really a fan of the sardines though. I would suggest getting a pitcher of sangria to share. Really enjoyed this place, great service and food. I will definitely return.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

We ordered 10 small & medium plates and two large plates for four people - a good amount of food for us. Most dishes were carefully prepared and delicious, although some were quite ordinary - the skewers, the sardines and the spiced/salted almonds in particular. Most impressive would have to be the fried chillies and also the grilled prawns, which were definitely a hit - the chillies were an interesting, authentic experience while the prawns were grilled and seasoned to perfection. The churros were also an excellent choice for dessert. We'll definitely be back, if only to try this dessert again!

However, their wine list is sadly lacking in both variety and quality. The wine that we eventually ordered, a Spanish sav blanc, was not impressive especially given the $45 price tag.

Approximate cost: $Small - $6, Med - $10, Large - $25
