the location of this hotel is the best thing, the service of the staff was a close second, we had three days in brisbane and this made it really easy to get around and the free wifi too.

A beautiful experience- well presented older but quality hotel - furnishings lovely- beds amazingly comfortable- wonderful friendly staff- small very comfy bar & restaurant- food prices a bit over the top- menu isn't very big and yes costly but available 24 hrs- the comfort and friendliness was so good we were able to overlook the short n pricy menu- drinks were great and reasonable prices- definitely will return - for special occasion too amazing functions rooms- free Internet wifi -

Absolutely perfect venue as far as I'm concerned. I got invited to a wedding here and had the time of my life. The staff bend over backwards to accomodate you, their service is first class and the meals were, whilst expensive, unbeatable. They also had parking which I liked and everything is easily accessible. Being near the wonderful botantical gardens is also a plus. You could hold just about any event at this place and you would not be disapointed. It was a chance to dress up for a night and feel like a celebrity. It's a first class choice. I've also seen their nice rooms, but unfortunately did not get the chance to stay over night, but they are simply stunning.

I booked in here for an anniversary celebration with my partner, surprising him with the romance package. It was a pretty underwhelming experience to be honest. Our room was great, and I'd booked it knowing we'd be overlooking the botanical gardens, but being only on the third floor meant there wasn't much of a view.

The romance package specified sparkling wine on arrival and a full breakfast in bed the next morning. After arriving, and waiting 10 min, I called down asking about the wine. After it didn't show for a further 30, I had to call again after which it finally arrived with our room service. Bit disappointing.

Similarly, there wasn't much guidance on how to order our breakfast, and whether it was set or we had to specify what we wanted and so we were woken at 8am in the morning to find out what we wanted - that was annoying.

Aside from this, it wasn't too bad. Our room was spacious and our bed comfy. The hotel itself is pretty affordable too. I think the location is good too - nice and close to the gardens, Eagle St Pier and only 5 min into Queen St mall etc.

I think I would recommend Park on the Royal to any visitors looking for accommodation when visiting Brisbane, but maybe not if they were considering the Romance package.

Stayed a night here. The view from up the top of the hotel was overlooking Brisbane Roma st. station and we could see kelvin grove road .not the most romantic but was a great view. The queen size bed was two singles stuck together! Not happy about that ,a queen bed should be just that! The room was clean and nicely set out. Bathroom was average, lounge was quite big and bedroom was a separate room . Plenty of towels, more than 2 lol . Clean carpets.quiet up in the higher floors away from traffic. No noise from other travellers which led to a good nights sleep cept for the beds parting company q few times in the night. Wouldn't stay there again tho,bit pricey for the room .the mi i bar which we never touch is so over priced. Come on $8 for a bottle of water! And almost that for a small packet of plain smith chips

A great little hotel in the heart of Brissy. Very handy to the Botanic gardens where they ofter have concerrts on at the River stage. An easy walk to Central station & Queen St mall. Have been happy with the quality on each occasion & the cleanliness is great. Staff are always most helpful, without being uptight like at some high end hotels.

This is a wonderful place to stay with fantastic views over the botanical gardens and great facilities, you can usually get a good deal on their rates online and the food in their resturant is wonderful, I would go back here in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone that wants a nice central hotel that has the added bonus of being in a peaceful location.
