If you love Italian food in a romantic, intimate setting, look no further than Rosalina Italian Restaurant in Newton. My partner and I had our first anniversary dinner/date here and were amazed at the service, outstanding quality of the food and the warm inviting nature of the restaurant.

This is a cosy, family, country style restaurant, serving scrumptious pastas and meat dishes. Recently, they've improved the interior with paintings, so a pleasant dining experience is assured.
I found the prices to be very reasonable indeed. The service is of a high standard.

Rosalina is a family owned business. Very cosy. The food is absolutely scrumptious and guaranteed quality. Roberto, the owner and host is very personable and entertaining yet gives you enough time and space so that your dining experience is superb.

This is probably my favourite restaurant in Newtown. It's not five-star Italian, but they serve good simple pasta and meat dishes. The place is a little cramped but the atmosphere is pleasant - it's cosy and warm in winter, and it's open late.

Service is excellent. Just an aside - restaurants in Newtown turnover with amazing regularity - places close, new places open, etc. This place has been here for as long as I can remember (well over more than 10 years now) - they must be doing something right.
