May I commend Ron Robertson, of Ron's-Book-Shop-Hawker, for his fantastic community spirit and practical support to Buk bilong Pikinini and Dictionaries for Dili - now expanded to Dictionaries for Developing Countries - two programs that Ron has and continues to massively support with donated books. Such beautiful quality second hand books - a lot of the time they look just like new. I think that Ron is quite selective in the books that he purchases and places in the store. He always seems very helpful and friendly (even to my little girl). The prices reflect the quality, so can be slightly higher than some other second hand book stores - but the quality and service is worth it.

One of the best second-hand bookshops I have been to. Not only will Ron go out of his way to help you look for a book if you're after anything specific, but he will also give you suggestions and titles of books you might like. If he doesn't have a specific book in, he will take down the details and actually go out of his way in hunting down that book for you - and more often than not, he can get it. Fantastic and highly recommended! Nearly every book you can imagine seems to be stocked in this bookshop with very reasonable prices.

Have found what I had been looking for on most occasions and on the one time I did not, the proprietor offered to keep an eye out for me. Has a huge collection of second hand books and manuals - both fiction and non-fiction. All in good quality condition.

Ron's book shop is a regular place if visit. Ron always has new books coming in and its not just the fiction that he carries. always a good selection and worth going regularly too as the books change all the time.

I visited the bookshop as they advertised to buy and sell, exhange good quality secondhand books. I was doing a spring clean and had some books to sell. The senior staff told me Ron was away going around but will be happy to visit us.We left our details and he rang us and booked for a visit the next day. We were happy to sell some of our books without the fuss of taking them physically when you are not sure which ones can be taken.
