10 reviews about Rite Price Grocery Clearance Store

I've shopped here for a long time now, years in fact. The bargains that can be found, I mean WOW!!! This is definately the place to get a bargain if you are on a tight budget, and I think most of us are. By shopping here almost weekly, I managed to save enough to buy a new laptop. The staff are great, and are more than happy to help their customers, even to your car.

This is a shop that basically sells food that is close to or past its best before date. They have really great deals on brand name products and you can save a small fortune. It can be a little hit and miss with some things like biscuits but if you buy something and it doesn't taste nice you can take it back. They have free boxes for you to pack your purchases in to and the staff are really friendly.

Always a great variety of foods generally of good quality. Very cheap. Does not always stock the same things which can sometimes be frustrating.

regretfully more stuff from china. which is ok if you don't mind your food being grown in human excrement & have developed a taste for melamine.

I recently went to Morphett Vale store for th efirst time and 7 out of the 16 items were out of date by up to 6 months and 4 of those items were dairy, when I tried the cheese, because it had on wrapping it was new, it was sour and made me feel ill, that is when I checked the use by date. Wont be going back there.Have been to other stores not problems there.

When I first went to rite price I thought it would be full of out of date unwanted food. It is not like that at all. There are often many in date products which are one special such as dairy farmers yogurts, steggles chicken packs which retail for $8 but they sell for $5. They sell chips, lollies, pre-packaged lunch food like soups for $2 when they retail for $3 - it all adds up. Some food can be a bit 'hit and miss' with the 'unknown brand' for example I bought 10 salsas for $1- and they tasted horrible. The trick is most often on there 3 for or 2 for deals they will sell them to you individually for just as cheap. A must to check out for the budget conscious.

Great store to find discounted food! But make sure you check the use by dates! Some are out by a couple of years. Other then that the staff are friendly and the prices are great

The shop is well stocked with bargains of low code food. Lots and lots of supermarket items like biscuits, frozen food, toiletries etc; all their goods are guarantied, and they are happy to refund or exchange. Excellent value for money.

As a single parent this place is a god sent. I can stock up on the recess snacks(including muesli bars), as well as some treats for the weekend. toiletries and kitchen products, as well as fridge freezer and pantry fillers, but we can not forget about the pets either. since I started shopping there, i have managed to save around $40- $50 a week. and over the year it adds up. some of the food does seem a bit suss upon inspection, but the vast majority of the time it is fine. i could not be happier that i started shopping there.

The shop is full of lots of bargains and low code food from cold fridge food, toiletries and everything a supermarket stocks. I was a bit unsure of some of the cheese an butter dates they were a bit to far me to buy. but all the other products are cheap and value for money.

A great place to save money on most shopping. Some dates on products are getting along a bit but are still great value. Can save a lot of dollars by shopping at this very friendly store.

Approximate cost: $110.00
