Whenever I shop here it is so much better than the big two! Parking is never a problem. They have the hard to get products at great prices - great for a change! I shop hear for the enjoyment!

What I like about Ritchie's is they have products that you can not get anywhere else,
and I feel good that I am helping my favourite charity by shopping here.

There is something depressing about shopping at Richies..everyone including the other shoppers and staff always seem to look so unhappy. Sounds crazy doesn't it?? I do continue to shop there however as its not as big as Coles etc and I can get in and out quickly and they are pretty well stocked with reasonable prices. And there is usually car parking right outside to speed things up even more!

Staff are sometimes friendly but some tend to be incredibly depressing. Prices are ok, but you have to do your research- often when not on special most items tend to be excessively priced. The car park is not unlike a tiny war zone. Filled with octogenarians, and also utilised by many others shopping in the east bentleigh district, tends to be crazy and filled with dementia patients. You get the picture.

I don't mind Ritchies IGA but I think there is room for improvement. They tend to mark a lot of their items with two prices, the full price and the price for those with one of their benefit cards. If you don't have a benefit card it's a bit confusing as you think things are marked on special when they're not.

This supermarket is wonderful for finding items not normally stocked by the mainstream supermarkets like Coles and Safeway. Their prices for everyday items is also very reasonable, and when you consider the fact they donate to local charities through their Community Card scheme, they are well worth shopping with
