We went to pick up our Christmas food order for sixteen guests well before the allocated pick up time that we paid for in full 6 weeks beforehand. We ordered 2 family size chickens and an extra large tray of cauliflower and broccoli in cheese sauce.
We gave the person behind the counter a copy of the reciept only to be told “sorry we have sold out of most of the food”.
Instead they offered us 1 chicken and some left over roast pork and no cauliflower broccoli in cheese sauce!
Ultimately our Christmas lunch was spoiled as we relied on this business to deliver a service we paid for! They said there was nothing they could do but refund part of the money. We will never return to such a poorly organised business as this.

Rip off rooster.

I used to regularly purchase a roast meal for an elderly neighbour but will no longer shop at Ripper Rooster. On the last occasion I had paid for the meal and the staff had only just started to cut the meat when I received a phone call telling me the neighbour had been rushed to hospital. I quickly told the staff I no longer needed the meal but they refused to refund my money - the cut meat could have been used for the next order! My neighbour passed away two days later and we were stuck with a roast meal we did not want.

this is my favorite charcoal chicken shop in warragul. they not only serve chicken but also have other roast meat items and the usual take away items such as chips, fish, potato cakes, salads etc. the food is always fresh and the service always fast.

Always a great feed from here! Never had a problem at all with service, food, prices or any other offering. Prices can b a little pricey but not as phenomenal as most in this day & age. Store always clean, plenty of room to move when busy, & plenty of seats to sit on while waiting. My partner often goes here when we are in warragul & is one of his preferred shops when given the choice.

I was disgusted to find my BBQ chicken from here wasn't fully cooked. i was disappointed that the owner argued with me about refunding my money. Needless to say if i am ever in warrugal again I wont be eating here.
