Always my first stop when I come on holiday. Best pies, especially the gourmet pies. I pre ordered some uncooked to take home. Owner kindly put them in their freezer so I could take them home frozen to enjoy later. Cooking instructions were included.

Just back from a holiday in Nelson Bay and the memory of this great shop has stayed with me. As a vegetarian I was so surprised to be spoilt my choice and decided on a pastie. I was not disappointed it was delicious. I did ask for a cold pastie to eat later but they don't sell anything cold, all pies are fresh.

These are the best pies in Australia. There are so many varieties like chicken and camembert, beef stroganoff, crocodile, kangaroo teriyaki, and thai green lamb curry. There must be at least 50 different varieties. The pastry is not too thick and never soggy. The prices are good for the quality you get.
