The food was AH-MAZING. It was an unpretentious and relaxed environment with friendly and talkative waiters. The fish was absolutely spectacular and the peking duck was unmissable. Quite pricy, but definitely worth it- the portions were generous and easy to share. The food is exploding with flavour, and as mentioned it is presented flawlessly. It is quite expensive and they don't take reservations however it is a nice splurge restaurant.

Normally, I go to the red chili in the city , where they offer more choice of main dishes. This shop in glebe is mainly serve the hotpot, stir fried hotpot and side dishes. I went there with two friends, in total we order the stir fry one with beef slice, pork intestine, seafood, tofu , potato. It was really yummy and the portion is quite big, we also ate a lot of rice as it is spicy. For the side dish, we ordered the chili chicken and spicy beef mixed. I like the beef more. In total, we spend around 80aud, it is a bit pricy, but at least we all enjoyed this dinner.

This was a really nice place to go for a meal with a big group of friends - they cater well to large groups and the food is good. Lots of Chinese families were around when we went - I think they'd come from a graduation ceremony or something!

Approximate cost: $20

this is my favorite hotpot restaurant in sydney as their material of making hotpot soup are all imported from sichuanLove this place - nothing beats a steaming Szechuan hotpot in the midst of winter! I prefer the Glebe branch over the Chinatown one...the soup base seems more flavourful. Our must-have ingredients are the pork and coriander balls, lamb slices (seriously, the beef pales in comparison) and fish roe balls. And it's a good idea to get the half clear-half spicy soup option...an all-spicy soup option would render your tastebuds useless after awhile.

Recommend 3 dishes per person. Good with groups of people. Amazing experience, friendly service. Try the special sauce. Soo much to choose from and you cook it your self. DELICIOUS and slightly addictive dining. Fantastic restuarant.

Strongly recommend this place if going with a large group of friends - that way you can experience more of the brilliant food in one sitting. Seriously - any chilli lover will want to go back to this restaurant for more. The Hot-Pot is to die for.
