The motto of this little place should be "you don't have to be showy if you're doing something great". Not that this small restaurant isn't pleasant, it is. Large windows on two sides and cultural murals on the others. A small dining room with simple wooden tables and chairs. But it has a very nice family atmosphere and serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine with its own modest style. My order was taken with interest as if they really cared about what I might want.

I needed some take away in a hurry, and that was a bit of a mistake as I think this place needs you to spend time in it for the full enjoyment. As I was waiting, I was invited to sit and treated like a welcome guest with a cup of hot tea.

Very wise Vietnamese locals patronize this place and anyone else who is lucky enough to discover it. Some fabulous dishes - the menu options stretch for ever - Drop rice noodle soup with crabmeat and prawns, Shredded pork rice paper rolls, Sizzling chicken with lemongrass and chilli.

I had the singapore noodles with lovely vegetables and meat included and the Prawn spring rolls which were just sensational.

I was sorry I could not stay to dine, or that some of my family were not with me to enjoy it but my boring white takeaway bag hid treasures including my lovely box of noodles, bag of crisp, succulent prawns, a generous wad of washed crispy lettuce and a lovely creamy/spicy dipping sauce, chopsticks and a sprig of fresh, green mint. A simple meal made special by attention to detail.

This is a place you will love to discover.
