Cheese Tastings of all their varieties, lovely cafe offering snacks, salads and desserts. Homemade Ice Creams which we ate as we looked around the paddocks and play area for children. Demonstrations of cheese making, a great break from driving.

Very informative cheese tasting and demonstration. Loved the selection of flavours, and all priced quite reasonably.
Stayed for an ice cream in the cafe, which also offers activities for the children and a play area in a safe location at the back of the premises.

This place is just brilliant. I am a big cheese fan and this gave me a great idea of the local cheeses of the region - the tasting helps you identify the changes in taste throughout the maturing process and the cafe is great also. Don't leave without trying some of the ice cream!

For just a minute I thought I had picked up a 2 litre bottle of cream. On closer inspection the label was clear Milk, clearer still was the explanation for my good fortune. Pyegana Dairy Company pasteurises it milk, but it does not homogenise it, you can do that yourself. follow these easy steps.

1. Carefully remove the bottle from the fridge, open the lid and pour one glass (Enjoy discretely).
2. Now see the cream stuck to the top of the bottle, replace the lid and shake vigourously this distributes the remaining cream evenly throughout. (manual homogenisation) return bottle to fridge.

Thank you Pyengana, milk will never be the same again.

P.S. Any chance we could see 1 pint glass bottles with tin foil caps?
