I visited the Camberwell store on Thursday to enquire about a homewares item I’d seen online. The first shop assistant came off as officious and flat out rude, however, her co worker stepped in and politely suggested I try other stores once she checked online for where the product in question might be found. I went home and rang the Armadale store and spoke to Mandy who was fantastic and determined to hunt down what I was looking for. In short, Mandy organised an inter store transfer (to save me driving to Mornington). Her interaction with me was professional yet very warm and friendly. She was brilliant! Thanks Mandy. Others could learn from her.

The cost of delivery for furniture items is ridiculous - the cost of a $1000 piece costs nearly $700 to ship to a town about an hour out of Sydney. No information on the website about click and collect. Is it free if you collect it from the store? Who knows. Not customer-centric at all.

Poor quality sofas built with no standards. They start falling apart after a couple of months of use!
Never buy sofa from stores like this who don’t give you structural warranty.

Bought some lovely mugs, one split as soon as hot water went in. Replaced it but since most of the others have chipped and then also split. Such a shame as they as they were nice.

We purchased a Provincial Home Living library and ladder (3 bay) worth $5000+ via their online store on the 15 October and it hasn't arrived 16 days later despite their website stating that the item would be delivered to Brisbane in 5 days. I have contacted the warehouse three times, and been given three different days that the item would be picked up and delivered, yet it's still sitting at their warehouse. Each time I called, I was told - "sorry, I meant to call you" and then was given a reason (eg. there wasn't enough room on the truck, the truck was going to NSW not QLD, etc.). I think we've been pretty patient and accommodating, however it's starting to get annoying that our expensive order isn't being treated as a priority. While we're eagerly awaiting the arrival of our library, I guess the main point of my review is to not expect your online purchase to arrive by the time they state it will and to not expect any communication from them unless you call first.

Went to purchase some bar stools we had seen previously & then found advertised online at a special price. When I arrived in store I could not find the specific stools so I asked a staff member who then pointed them out. She said they had more out the back as I wanted them to match. I selected the 2 I wanted & paid for them, not noticing how much she had charged me for them. Shortly after I arrive home she called to inform me that she under charged me & to pay the extra $90 over the phone or return the stools as she had another buyer who wanted them. I was flustered & shocked by her harassment that I gave her my credit card details. Later when I thought about it & made some calls I realised I should not have paid this as it was their mistake, that the wrong price label had been attached to the stool that I selected from the shop floor. So I called my credit card provider to investigate. They asked for a statement from the staff member who tried to cover her mistake by claiming I changed the price ticket on the item. I was very upset & angry at this claim but because I had given her my credit card details to pay, then there was nothing I could do. Very disappointed & will never ever purchase or recommend them again. Furthermore, the stools are definitely not worth the money we paid for them. All screws were loose & I have to keep tightening them & they wobble. Overpriced cheap quality.

Thankyou for the warning. I would contact the ombudsman or a solicitor as she claimed you did something you did not do. That is not right
