Good pub food. I ate fish and chips and my friend had a burger. Great location! Goes off on a Saturday!

Authentic pub in St Kilda which always has something going on! I don't go here on Saturday nights anymore, I went once and found the $20 entry (no guest list) and expensive drinks too much! Plus the music wasn't my cup of tea. It's great for just a casual drink and bite to eat though.

$20 entry is definitely too much!

Great traditional pub in the middle of over priced St Kilda.. Bring food in from any of the local takeaway eaters. And sit watching the life go by on Fitzroy St. Always good value, always good fun.

Went on a very hot Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. Drinks are reasonably priced with Staff moving quick. If you want to go outside however, you must be seated at all times which is quite annoying for those who smoke.

Approximate cost: $inexpensive

Not at all bad to catch up with friends for a drink, drinks area a good price and atmosphere is pretty relaxed.

We flocked to this place when moving to Melbourne after hearing 'the Secret Life of Us' was filmed here, absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, cheap drinks, sat on the huge wooden tables outside, everybody was frieldnly, staff were friendly and always checking that we had everything we needed. Close to the beach. Just loved it!

A local pulse, this place is my favourite watering hole. We love sitting by the window, watching the crazy locals pass us bye. The drinks are cheap, the place is always full of colourful characters, and there's always someone to challange to a game of killer pool.

My experience of Prince was similar to the one below. Wasn't overly impressed, although the Dj's and music were quite good. But apart from that, there was no where to escape the thumping sounds of the main dance floor. The outside balcony is cluttered with smokers and during winter is incredibly cold. I wasn't too impressed with the bouncers either.

My only experience of Prince is the band room (aka the club area). Suffice to say I was unimpressed, $20 gets you in (there are no guestlists and therefore no option for cheaper entry) while the price of alcohol is astronomical, last i checked beers were around $9. While the music is quite good, the service is abysmal, the bouncers are arrogant and power hungry, and dont seem to respect their customers at all.

The people serving at the bar seem to be a little bit slow as well, on one notable occasion i saw a young man wondering around the club with a bottle of scotch he managed to swipe from behind the bar!

Overall, there are plenty of places in Melbourne that you can go for a far better (and cheaper) clubbing experience.
