I went to see Dr Philip Hill in January 2015 for a scale and clean as part of my Medibank benefit and found him to be a very knowledgeable and experienced dentist. He was able to look past just the immediate symptoms and diagnose the underlying issue. When he saw that I had microcavities, he suggested that I could have acid reflux, which I never realised until I thought about it. He also performed one minor filling, and his treatment was quite conservative in that he did not want to unnecessarily remove tooth structure prematurely. He has a friendly team of staff as well, and his fees are very reasonable.

Horrible experience. I had to see another dentist as the issue hadn't been dealt with, & when I had initially questioned Dr Hill about it, his recommendation was fairly severe ... which wasn't needed ... if he had done his job in the 1st instance.

I felt like he was on the clock, & I was being rushed out.

Also, he kept referring to my ethnicity, which I felt was odd ... & no other dentist I've ever seen made so much commentary about it. I initially put it down to his personality, however when I questioned him about the issue that hadn't been dealt with, he informed it was a trait of my ethnicity's teeth!

I also noticed that 1 of his staff member placed rubbish in the bin with his gloved hand, & DID NOT CHANGE IT.

Dr Hill is an extremely knowledgeable and caring dentist. Not forgetting, very funny one too. Our first experience with him was definitely a good one and we will definitely be going back to him in the future.

My husband and my son visited Doctor Hill last week because I read the comments previously published on Womow. He is a very nice dentist. He is patient to explain the problems and the reasons caused the problems in details. I'm pretty happy with the first experience.

Our family has been going to Phil for over 20 years. He was responsible for helping diagnose by daughter's blood disorder. She was 2 and had the gum disease of a 50 year old! She was sent off to a Peridontist, had blood tests and now at age 19 is managing her health. She is off to see him tomorrow!

I had an emergency where my front tooth crown fell off. I had to get an emergency treatment and found him in the area. He was very good and addressed the problem well at once. I did not have to wait much longer which was good as I needed to be in an interview the next day. He knew what he was doing and took me through the procedure. My crown was good as new!
