Very underated tourist attraction, in the CBD region (short walk from Post Office in city centre). Amazing insight into Colonial History. Ghost tours are run of an evening (very scary). During the day there is tours. A little like Port Arthur, but on a smaller scale and not in ruins. Suitable for pretty much anyone but just be careful with younger kids as they do tour the "hanging room". All sensitively done, but those were tough times. Very good value, and volunteer run
