I can definitely attest to the value for money that PC Pains provides - replaced the battery in my laptop for $50 and fixed my hard drive cover for $30. I'm no expert on computers but $80 is pretty good for a uni student budget. On top of that, the business owner was very friendly and quick to get back to me with quotes My issue with the business is their communication. I dropped off my computer and hard drive around the 11th of July - I didn't get my computer back for two weeks, and only received my hard drive today - a month's turn around isn't great.

I was informed the delay came about due to waiting for parts to arrive (and a personal crisis that happened to the business owner) which I am more than happy to be patient for, but I was never contacted by them with these details, I was texting them once a week for updates. As a result, I felt frustrated with them.

Given the great value, I would use PC Pains again. But I would suggest carpe diem and insist you ask them for a specific time frame, especially if you need something fixed quickly. Communication with customers is so incredibly vital and so easy to get right.

Approximate cost: $80

i know what you mean, he had my computer for 3 weeks and it wasn't fixed - he didn't tell me though and still insisted on payment. i had to pay someone else to fix it. he won;t answer his phone. sonething should be done. don't do business with this man.

I approached PC Pains with a problem with my laptop. I was quoted $590.00 to repair it through another laptop repairer. PC pains repaired it and serviced it for $360.00 and it runs like the day I brought it.
I would recommend them without a thought!!
Great work

Approximate cost: $360.00
