Parwana now has menus that differ on the day you go, so this review is for the Friday-saturday menu.

There are two kinds of rice, one which has candied carrots and the other which has candied oranges. Both are totally beautiful!

They also have TWO kinds of dumplings on saturdays. This time, we tried the fried dumplings, and they were perfect, with subtle layered flavours, with chives and mint and garlic and yoghurt and other amazing things.

The meats are fabulous, we had both options, the chicken and lamb.

If you love complex, delicious flavours, you will LOVE parwana. Do have a go, they are my favourite all time restaurant!!!

Making a reservation is a must!! This restaurant seems to be getting more popular, so busy all the time.

We have experienced a few exceptional dining experiences here, never disappointed. Their dishes are delicious and authentic using the most divine spices, all our meals were sensational, they really had the tastebuds going.

One of the best middle eastern places I have eaten at in a long time. Exceptional food from the rice to the meats and salads. A very traditionally based menu with the beat cooks. Very hospitable and always welcome you. The price is acceptable in turn for all the extras you get.

Love this little restaurant! They serve delicious food here, loved their kebabs, curries and the rice is cooked perfectly. The servings are not huge, so make sure you have an entree or allow room for dessert. It is BYO, so make sure you take some with you, corkage is expensive. You really do need to make a reservation, as we left disappointed on our first attempt as they were booked up. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return.

Food is yummy. We had the eggplant, lamb kebabs, sweet rice and dumplings. The dumplings were delicious! I didn't like that they don't have eftpos and don't advertise that they are cash only, meaning I had to run down Henley beach road to get cash out from the servo. The service was ok, we sorta got forgotten about, but we could forgive because the food was worth the money we paid for it. The ambience is also very nice. Overall, a great little restaurant.

Some other restaurants in the heart of town have attracted many reviews and this one, only two? It seems a shame. This place has to be one of the BEST restaurants in Adelaide - PLEASE visit! It's BYO, so remember to bring some wine, and then some more wine because you'll end up staying longer than you expected because the food is amazing, and you'll keep nibbling and tasting long after you've declared yourself full.

The dumplings are a phenomenon, and I can't remember the names of anything else (as usual with boozy dinners) but the sweetly spiced rice is beautiful, the lamb and the chicken are both fantastic. I never eat curry but I've heard that it's amazing too.

This cuisine isn't like anything else in Adelaide so it's a great experience.

And the restaurant itself is very cute too!

This place never fails to amaze. Everything on the menu that I have tried has been sensational. This includes the curries, the kebabs, the eggplant, the different kinds of rice, the dessert and the ice cream. If you haven't been you should make an effort to get there.
