Had the worst experience with the dining room manager! Very rude! I brought to the attention of the dining room staff that my chicken mignon was not fully cooked and was still very pink! The young girl prompted took it away and asked if i would like to replace it with something else as they didnt have any of the mignons left. I said i would replace it with a chicken schnitzel! No probs at all until 5 mins later the dining manager came over to me and said it was cooked properly etc. But she would replace it with a 1/2 of a chicken schnitzel because my mignon was 1/2 eaten ( i had cut it in 1/4's only and not eaten any of it!) I won't be going back to this club again!!

Just got home from our experience at The Para Hills Community Club and what an experience it was! A horrible experience.
The atmosphere is gloomy and depressing, the food was gross and the staff were boring and unfriendly.
Firstly with the atmosphere. The restaurant area is dark, old, dirty looking and dingy. What added to the depressing atmosphere was the outdated annoying and boring "easy listening" music.
Secondly, the food. Wow I actually thought it was a joke when the staff put the plate down in front of me. I ordered the roast of the day. What I got was a swimming pool of cheap powdery gravy hiding the measly three peaces of beef leather and ONE potato. Thats it. Thats all you get folks. No quantity and certainly no quality. My partner ordered the battered fish and received a chewy, thickly battered and over cooked mess. Nothing was done right. Terrible.
Lastly the staff. I don't blame them for being unfriendly. If I worked in a dingy depressing place like this, I'd be hating life too.
So to finalise my review, just don't. Seriously don't.

Great family friendly place to go. Been there a few times with family and friends. Resonance pricing and good food. Local so always an option. Give it a go if ur nearby

We dine regularly here as the place is great from the food to the friendly staff. Its a great location to us & is very 'kid friendly' with a playroom off of the bistro. Also has Bingo & some good entertainment & Pokies (for those that play).

My daughters had a birthday party held in their disco, 40 children all kept highly entertained with dancing and games. Bring own cake, cost $2 per child and then buy some drinks and nibbles fantastic value loads of fun for kids and adults!

The Para Hills Community Club offer a great quality dining experience with great tasting meals and well stocked self-serve salad and hot vegetable bar included in the price of all bistro meals. The lunch time specials board always has something for $10.90 (price may change at a later date) and that too includes the salad & veg bar. Price and choices of the standard menu are also great. My favourite? The Angus Beef Schnitzel - they are so so yummy! The only downside is when there are no tables available, which does happen particularly on long weekends. My advise? Be sure to book!

Many many thanks to the staff of Para Hills Community Club especially Bronwyn who was responsible in setting up the function room for the occasion of our son and his new wife's wedding. The weather was perfect for the ceremony and the day culminated in the reception at the club. The room was set up exquisitely and the decor perfect for the occasion. The friendly staff provided flawless bar service and the waitresses served the guests with a minimum of fuss - the whole evening went like clockwork. the meal was to die for which we have grown to expect from this club. The whole evening will be remembered by many people especially the happy couple for many years to come. Congratulations Para Hills for a well presented and well executed evening.
