Good pub food and service. Will be back.

This is a lovely big pub, with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Went there for lunch yesterday with a friend. Lots of menu choices, and they all sound delicious. It was very quiet and peaceful. The menu is easy to read. Prices start at about $13 for a very light meal, and go up to about $30. Personally, I think the hamburger at $14 was over priced, but never mind, it is a lovely spot.

Palmwoods Hotel is a great place to go for a meal. Typical Queenslander pub with huge indoor outdoor areas. Lots of places to choose from to sit depending on your mood.

The menu is great and there is always a specials board. They also have different menu style nights which are surprisingly good. Like middle eastern that is very genuine.

Lamb shanks and port belly are another menu items we enjoy. The menu is so diverse that everyone is always happy here.

Very child friendly. The service is fabulous and it's just an all round great place to go - you are made to feel welcome.

Can I just say.....the best steaks in QUEENSLAND! Great atmosphere, great meals, and great live music!

Saturday me and my wife went there for lunch. The tavern/pub was advertised as the best steaks. We enjoyed them and the service was fantastic. Great staff and wonderful food.
