What's good about this restaurant? There are so many different foods to choose from; pizza, roast pork, salads, Chinese and a huge range of desserts to name a few. What needs improving? Some of the food had been sitting out for too long and did not taste fresh, it was quite pricey and took a long time to be served drinks even though it wasn't busy. I'm glad I tried it but I won't be returning.

Wonderful food, friendly staff. I love the freshness, Saturdays are the best time for me as they have seafood, it is a little busy but can I ask please keep the prices affordable for families.

Had a gathering with a group of 20. Not impressed with the buffet spread. Somehow they hid their fresh sashimi, so if I didn't realised, I would have missed it. The only food I enjoyed were the cheese pizza & deep fried finger food...

Six ladies who meet for lunch, something for everyone. I started with antipasto, had sushi for entree, tepanyaki salmon, and butter chicken with stirfry vegetables before giving the dessert display my most decadent Attention. On this visit it was disappointing to find the fruit offering greatly reduced compared to previous visits. It is unacceptable to be given a chipped milk jug, but the variety of food means I will return.

For a buffet, this place hits most buttons. Great choice of food, friendly staff (although wait staff seem to be constantly new resulting in some shabby cocktails). The kitchen staff are great and on my latest visit, I even had one staff member especially cook a large piece of crackle for me when it had run out. The food is always quite fresh and of a reasonable quality. Unfortunately our recent visit was not so pleasant. The air conditioning was out of order and as we sat down attempting to eat our meals, the temp roseand by the end of it, we moved tables to somewhere a small aircon unit could be plugged in and one staff member bought me ice in a cloth as we were all struggling not to pass out. it was dreadful and if we weren't paying $45pp, I would have left. We hardly ended up eating and ravenged the fruit platters and sorbet.
The only other thing I have to note is that you need a wider variety of salads and vegetarian delicacies.m

I've been to this all you can eat once, and I was very impressed with the food that they had. There were all the buffet basics such as springrolls and chips, but there was also hot out of the oven pizza, and chef's that made instant noodles and teriyaki chicken in their woks. The chocolate fountain was a dream come true. However, the prices are a little high.

Approximate cost: $25-50

I celebrated my birthday at Paesano's with family/friends and we were all very happy with the choice and quality of the food. The fresh oysters were a great hit for one guest.
The restaurant has 2 sittings so choosing the 7.30pm one was a good choice as the 5.30 sitting catered more for families. The place was pretty full so we asked for a quiet table that didn't have people walking past to get to the food.
The service was excellent and finished plates were removed almost immediately. At my request they made up a plate of cakes but the extra touch were the chocolate swirls and 2 sparklers blazing. The other service staff joined in with singing 'happy birthday'. The wine was excellent (mishmash)
and tea or coffee was an added extra. We finished up about 10pm and to our surprise when I walked around to pay we were the last ones there. Seniors get 10% off and Friday night is cheaper than Saturday night. I would definately go back again.

Approximate cost: $39-$45

Paesano International Buffet was opened by Frank and Angelo, who in 1997 opened Michelangelo in Burwood. It is located at what were previously Sofia's on Ferntree Gully Road and Montalcino (for a short time). Great international buffet spread including fresh seafood for dinner and all these for $39 to $45 per pax! Great place to enjoy with family and friends! It's not easy to find a family restaurant that provides better value than Paesano.

Approximate cost: $39-45
