The cafe overlooking the farm is so relaxing, the grounds are immaculately presented and cared for. Plenty of animals around for the kids to watch, a lovely spot to get out and have a walk and maybe pick some berries in season

i love going to old mac`s farm to pick strawberries. The strawberrries are huge and delicious. They sell them for $10 kg if you pick your own or $14 kg if you buy already picked ones. I reccommend driving as it is a long walk from the entrance to the strawberry patch and even longer back as it is all up hill coming back. As well as strawberries they also sell jams, relish, sauces, vinegar and syrups. also on top of strawberry picking it has a large trout fishing lake you can try your luck in and also paddle boats to go out on the lakes with. I have only picked strawberries so i dont know the prices on fishing and paddle boats. the last time i went i found the customer service to be abit poor but all the other times i have been there the staff have always been nice and friendly.
