I have to say the hot ogalo burgers here are the best in Sydney the grilled chicken so fresh every time the chilli is something you will keep coming back for the service is excellent plenty of tables though the floor is a little greasy at times will rate this highly for a quick lunch on the go whilst shopping in Chatswood.

The hot ogalo burgers here taste great. The peri peri from ogalo is fantastic (better than Nandos in my opinion) and they also have good deals on whole chickens. I think they have 2 whole chickens for just under $20 (something like $19.90) and they put peri peri on the chicken as well.

I've seen the owner change about twice in this store, and so far, the current one has had best service. Sometimes he would give me some free chicken popcorn thingies to try.

The only downside is that the meals from Ogalo are slightly expensive, for fries + burger and drink (can) you need to pay around $11. I find this quite expensive as I can get proper restaurant meals around chatswood at lunchtime for same price.

Overall, store has good service and the food comes out fast. I would like to recommend for the peri peri lovers, 'hot ogalo burger, extra chilli' from here.

PS. You can watch some channel V (or sometimes sports channel) on their TV while waiting for your order =)

Approximate cost: $11

I'm not sure why ogalo only has 3 stars for service.

First of all, in my opinion these guys serve the best Portuguese style chicken + burger. Hot ogalo burger being my favourite. I love their periperi sauce !!

I've had plenty of pleasant experience regarding the service. The owner has given my brother and myself some free chicken balls. No! they're like nuggets, but pure chicken meat. Apparently it's the owner's invention.

I've never had any problem what so ever with the service so far. The place can be at times untidy though.

Ogalo is a fantastic, fast and can be a healthy take away option for busy days. It is also a great inexpensive lunch venue. the food is fresh and provided promptly by great service staff. I always return for the half chicken.

Approximate cost: $8

Sit down tables if needed, not crowded.
The food is greasy as is all fast food, but the taste outweighs this fact.
One of the best chicken salt seasonings i have tasted and the chilli they use is my favorite.
