We heard about Nutpatch while doing a full day Bruny Island day tour, so thought we'd stop in here in our own time to see whether it lived up to the talk. And it absolutely did!

ATMOSPHERE/LOCATION:
The shop is not huge but definitely has more than enough chocolates and flavours for everybody. Some are in very funky designs like iPod Shuffles and Noughts-and-Crosses, and some great gift packs. It's very handy, on the main road coming into Kettering (in what looks like an old Servo station that now has a fabulous coffee shop) and there's plenty of parking onsite. It's very unassuming, but don't be fooled, as inside are some of the most fabulous treats.

SERVICE/STAFF:
A very friendly lady served up, she was helpful with what flavours we might like.

FOOD/PRICING:
The smaller chocolates are $2 each (which is a good price after visiting some other boutique chocolate places around Hobart), and you can have them gift boxed in sets of 4, 8 or 16. Some of these flavours are absolutely exquisite, there is nothing standard about them at all, and you really appreciate the artistry and work behind the scenes. We can highly recommend the florentine - so much flavour, absolutely superb.

LAST WORDS:
If you get the chance, make sure you stop. If you haven't been here yet, just go. Seriously. If you like chocolate, and want to eat some where the maker has really put some soul and love into them, then here is where you want to go.

Approximate cost: $3.00
