I just had my car (Hyundai I45) transferred from Perth to Adelaide.
Everything retailing to their services is excellent.
They are simply awesome.

Recently TCT moved a car from WA to Victoria for me. The quick response from my initial contact was good. They advised it may be 4 weeks before it would arrive when it took 2 weeks. One small issue was resolved quickly to my satisfaction. The cost was far less than I was expecting, a job well done.

This is the 2nd review I have written about this company as the 1st was not published by WOMO
I think its important to let people know about this shoddy business before they entrust their valuable possessions to them, because they will not respect them.
I transported my car with this company from Cairns to Gold Coast.
When I came to pick the car up, I was shocked to see the condition they presented it in. The car was totally covered in a thick grime that you couldn't see the paint or the windows.
There was no hose to was the grime from windows, so had to go and get a kettle from their office to wash windows so I could drive home.
Upon further inspection found that side mirror was smashed and totally destroyed and door was hit and now cant be locked.
I mentioned it to the manager and he showed a a total lack of interest and said he would email a complaint form so I could claim. After 3 days of nothing, I called the office and was abruptly given an address which was wrong, so back on the phone again and was again reluctantly given an address to lodge my complaint.
Sent them an email and the answer was that I had damaged the car and was trying to exploit them and told to go away as no Insurance would be paid.
I have proof from the check list that they do when you drop off your vehicle, that this damage was not there when the car presented to them. They conveniently overlook this.
I will be taking this matter further.
If WOMO publishes this letter, I will keep you informed.

Anette, the below is what the carrier advised both you and I - see below.
Please find attached copy of the survey sheet that was completed and signed off by yourself when you dropped your vehicle to our Cairns depot.
Your vehicle was surveyed in Dirty condition with tree sap all over the vehicle, perhaps had you washed it prior to dropping it off it would not be so dirty on arrival to yourself.
Every single damage you are trying to claim is also noted on this paperwork, of which you should still have the original copy.
Melcrest Auto Express will have no part in repairing damage that was already existing on your vehicle.
Please read over the terms and conditions that you have agreed to by signing the survey report upon dropping the vehicle to our holding facility.

Anette, I (Robert) also have a copy of the condition report in my office on the Gold Coast. If you wish you can come to the office and I can give you a copy of the signed report that you were given at drop off that shows all of the damaged including the broken mirror that you signed for. If it was possible I also would attached the report to the review site for everyone to see that your comment is NOT TRUTHFUL and very unprofessional.

I was advised to try TradeCar by Prixcar as my Cadillac was too long for them. I'm absolutely delighted with the excellence of their service. I'm currently in NZ and via email and mobile phone arranged and accepted their quote (Ballarat to Adelaide) - booked the pickup for last Monday, and their contractor Northern Victoria Car Transporters delivered it in perfect condition to my storage facility in Adelaide a short time ago.

Very well done to all concerned and I'll be calling them should I require another car transported.

I've never written a review in my life but I think it's important people be warned of this company. My vehicle went missing with this company for over 5 weeks! We dropped it off at designated address in edmonton cairns to be transported to melbourne. Nobody was there we rang and were told to leave car on side of road a put keys in letter box! Was told it would take 9 to 14 days to get to melbourne. 2 weeks on and it still hadn't left cairns. Upon ringing was told to contact tracking by email! It finally got into Brisbane where it sat for another couple of weeks. At no stage were they helpful but just kept referring me to email tracking team. 5 weeks later it arrived at their melbourne depot but no one rang or emailed me to let me know. When I emailed tracking team asking where my car was they were like oh yeah it's arrived come and get it. So I enail back that I paid extra money to have it delivered ! So then had to wait extra day for that as well. I was stuck at my parents house for 5 weeks waiting for my car with 4 young children. We missed our ferry to tassie and the kids missed out on their Summer holiday. This company is the worst. They are not a real transport company. They sub contract the job out to other companies and take no responsibility for what happens. They told me I will get no refund as a service was provided . Also the moron who delivered my car left the lights on and flattened my battery. Don't know what happened to my car while Missing In Action but had to get a brand new battery when my other one was only 3 months old. I dropped that vehicle off with full tank and came back empty. What did they do drive it down ? They should be stripped of their ABN and not allowed to operate.

I wish i had read your review before booking my car transport. Having the same issue & they refuse to refund either after promising the car will be delivered in 2 weeks which has turned into 4/5 weeks. Customer service is non existent.

Afternoon Kylie and all,

We at Trade Car Transport are open and honest and we give as much information as we can to our customers to help the transportation of their vehicles hassle free as we want and strive for satisfied customers (we book and transport over 200 jobs per week), the service we provide is one of the best in Australia that also incorporates the general public.

In this circumstance where Kylies vehicle was affected by the floods in northern NSW, there was a delay by a week that is out of anyones control as access to and from depots were cut off. Kylies vehicle was delivered today and it took the 2 weeks as quoted (including being affected by the floods), this eventuated by making a few calls and asking the right people the correct question, Kylie and I have since spoken and Kylie is another happy customer with the vehicle in her possession.

If customers can call the booking office and speak to either myself or one of my team leaders, this will ease their mind as we then can explain to them directly what has occurred.

BRILLIANT...PERFECT....WAY BEFORE SCHEDULED ...ARRIVED AND DELIVERED TO RESIDENCE THIS COMPANY WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT AND WOULD USE AGAIN. Pajero delivered in exactly 14 day and it was picked up from Brisbane 8th December and Delivered 22 December...Peak period....JUST FABULOUS

They were the best "bastards" we have ever used sounds like yr attitude might have to change. Ransport companies do an excellant job they fo their best to accommodate this company gave me dates and came in well before the due date I have no problem recommending them

FANTASTIC

Transported six of our muscle cars from Brisbane to Melbourne then were returned after a few weeks (charity event).

Service provided was top notch from the first call to the very last when we called to say a massive thank you for looking after us.

We have told our other business connections to use Trade Car Transport services, so be prepared Trade Car that there will be more work coming your way in transporting all of our muscle cars.

Dear Sir,

Recently I engaged Trade Car Transport to carry a vehicle from Geelong to Bowral. This was a new experience for myself, having never transported a vehicle interstate.
To add to 'new experiences', I was also moving my disabled 90 year old Mother who suffers from a severe stroke and brain tumour to New South Wales, as well as packing up her farm property of 60 years ! It was an emotional time for all. The ageing vehicle you were transporting belonged to my recently deceased Father, and had great sentimental value to our Mum.
I needed the whole process of car transportation to go smoothly.. and it did.

I would like to take the time to compliment you on a most satisfactory service from the minute I requested a quote until the delivery of my vehicle off the transport carrier at Marulan.
I am aware of the bad press some of the transport companies suffer at the hands of the general public and media at times, and of the little acknowledgement recognised for 'a job well done' in the transport industry as one rarely reads of a good professional group that offer exemplary service - but TCT tick all of the right boxes', and more. Whilst moving cars might 'all be in a days work' for your company, clearly your expectations from your staff and the service you offer to your customers are paramount and run to the highest levels.

But, my main compliments go to your driver, Alan.
From the day of loading our vehicle, Alan who by the way initially rang and introduced himself as the driver of the carrier, impressed us as a true professional. He assured us he would keep in contact with us at regular intervals throughout the trip, and he did. I had explained I would have to engage a carer to look after my mother whilst I left the house to collect the car ( a cost of around $130.00 an hour) and that I would have to educate myself and my driver ( also a Victorian !) as to where the heck 'Marulan' was in the dark of night.. but he took our dilemma all in his stride, gave easy directions and assured us that he would do his best to run to time in order to keep our costs down etc. This additional courtesy from Alan may seem a little ho-hum to most but as the collection of the car was going to take around about 3 hours, I had to make sure the carer we engaged understood the time frame we would be away from the house.

All went to plan and our arrival at Marulan saw the vehicle unloaded and ready to go and the carrier getting ready to push on to Brisbane. Additionally, Alan took the time to phone us the following day to check all was well with the vehicle.
As a Director of Nursing for over 30 years, I understand the ethos of business, the value of good professional staff and just how far considerations and courtesy go when doing things for others. I would like to offer my thanks to both yourself and of course Alan in assisting us with our vehicle transfer and in making the transition of what seemed almost insurmountable at one stage (to me) possible with the minimum of fuss. My gratitude to you all, is immense.

I would be extremely delighted to recommend your company and service in any format should you ever require promotional assistance.
