Newly renovated, the offerings were fantastic. Incorporates their bar as well as restaurants attached. The range of drinks at the bar were well stocked and they were reasonably priced. Definitely a place you can come on a regular basis. Too bad it's a bit far away...

call in here for a few drinks only the service was good and you never had to wait to long to be served for another drink great friendly atmosphere i found as well had a very enjoyable evening here when holidaying in mount gambier

dont mind dropping in to the mount gambier hotel for a poke or to grab some cans on the weekend and enjoy sitting in the outdoor area for a drink

Meals were good size and price however mine and a few others at our table were over cooked. have also been there on a busy evening for drinks with friends and service was rather slow and not as friendly as we had experienced during the day was ok but not great overall

havent dined there but been to the Gambier for drinks and it was pretty good, but seemed to get pretty rowdy the night we were there. would probably go back for a few drinks

Having just eating there recently the meal was outstanding and value for money. The atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. Definitely a place to eat and relax. The staff were prompt and friendly.

Lovely hotel. We stayed there for two nights and dined in each night. The meals were nice and everything was good except for the staff serving the meals. We had our meals about 7pm and chose a table but on the first evening our bread came and we didn't have plates or cutlery and had to ask for some. The next night the same thing except the meal came before the bread so had to wait for cutlery to eat our meal. That was dissapointing as everything else about the meal was very nice.
