Loved this bakery!!! Best pie and sausage roll I’ve had, tasted like the old fashioned way, fresh delicious and not greasy, no feeling of solidified cold fat in my mouth which leaves you feeling less than average. The older lady with an accent who served us was friendly and patient for my undecided nature when clearly they were very busy. Can’t wait until my next visit. Thank you MC CP Bakery!!

Very poor customer service. I felt rushed by staff, ended up with a regular hot chocolate when I am lactose intolerant because the staff member did not give me a chance to tell her I wanted my hot chocolate lactose free, and made me feel that by asking for that I would be inconveniencing her. Then when I added that for my client, she’d like a chocolate donut, I was brushed off with “yes I’m getting there”. As someone who has spent years in hospitality, there was no excuse for such treatment. There were 6 people in, it was hardly busy, and even if it is, it is customer service 101 to always make the customer happy. Yet instead I felt like my custom was an inconvenience. Then, to add insult to injury, I paid $4.10 for a donut that tasted like cardboard. Most definitely not freshly baked and I certainly won’t be back.

The lady with the English accent needs to lighten up, roll up her sleeves and see things from a customer's perspective.
Good food but not the standard of service that would cause me to return.
Drive on to the next town.

Stopped here in Mt Compass with the initial thought of having milkshakes and light lunch. However they do not make milkshakes so had a coffee instead. It was nice and my husband had a premade milk coffee from the fridge. Nice looking pies pasties and sausage rolls however no gluten free food so went elsewhere for lunch. Tables and chairs available inside and out.

My family stopped here for lunch and it was very busy, which I consider a sign of a good bakery. However, I felt very uncomfortable because it was so crowded, and it is a very small shop. There were 2 chairs out the front, but occupied, so we had to drive elsewhere to eat. The food was delicious, but I don't think we will be going back due to the long wait.

Mount Compass Bakery has a nice range of tasty products. They have good service and a nice little shop where you can sit and enjoy hot coffee and your choice of pies, pastries, cakes and other sweet treats. Great to meet friends to catch up.
