This seafood precinct is a destination in itself. While we do often have to wait a long time to order takeaway seafood and then wait for it to be cooked, there is plenty for the kids to look at to kill the time, from looking at the fresh seafood available for sale, to walking around the marina outside. The seafood is fresh and high quality - I guess you get what you pay for. Unfortunately the high price puts it just out of reach from being a treat enjoyed more often. The takeaway section is very popular on weekends and holidays, and it can be tricky to find a table outside. We often drive around the corner to a much quieter park to enjoy our meal.

Have always been a big fan of this fish and chip shop.
Lovely food, great value!
The fish is always very fresh and the way it's cooked is fantastic.
Can thoroughly recommend it!
We'll be back there soon I hope :)

THis is such a lovely restaurant overlooking the marina. We had an enormous seafood platter to share, both hot and cold seafood. Service was excellent and food devine.

You want seafood - go here... Lovely to buy fresh off the trawler or to just have a hot seafood lunch. Great for families as a park across the road....

We recently did a day trip to Redcliffe and drove on to Scarborough to buy lunch. The queue took forever - we waited 20mins in line to order and then a further 15 mins for our food. The food when we got it, was nice and fresh, but we suspected we may have got similar quality food up the road with faster service! Prices are a little higher than the norm.

best i can say is OK... i've heard stories of food being overcooked or undercooked, and of it taking forever to get a meal... my experience was just that... OK... mainly as i think it's a bit pricey for what you get.

Approximate cost: $24
