We used this company to do a renovation of our bathrooms and am sorry to say that we were throughly disappointed. When I first saw their business card (who we assume is the owner as it appears to be a one-man show), it rang alarm bells for me as there is not much by way of contact information apart from a mobile number. However, because he was recommended by a friend who works with someone he knows, and also because he was very pleasant to deal with during our initial the measure-and-quote meetings, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. At the start he was always on time and very courteous. Once work started and the deposit was paid, it was a different story and not only was he terribly hard to contact, when we did manage to get on to him he was very arrogant and rude. Its been a month and work that should have been finished 3 weeks ago is only half complete. I guess in a way it was fortunate though that he is so unprofessional, because we ended up having to get licensed builders in to fix a huge hole he has left in our wall, and as it turns out, we have found that quite a bit of the work he has carried out is not to building standards, which we would never have discovered had he completed the job on time. We have since ceased all work by MITIG plumbing, and although it will cost us a lot to get the sub-standard work repaired, we are lucky that we were at least aware that the wall and door he partially put in are structurally unsafe, rather than having to find out later the hard way. We went with them because their quote came in at the cheapest - however, as with everything, you get what you pay for. I would never recommend them or MITIG Plumbing to anybody.
