I used Melba's services last year when I renovated my home. Nathan was punctual at all times and cleaned up at the end of each day. He also gave us advice on how to best proceed with our renovation which was quite extensive. Good quality work.

Nathan repaired a rotten window. the job was awkward on a second storey with no balcony for access. Nathan quoted promptly after our first contact, returned to measure the job, and completed the task as promised. We had Nathan do two jobs for us on two different houses.
On the first he completely replaced the eaves and box gutters around the whole house, as well as a brand new kitchen laundry and bathroom.
On the second job he remmoved a couple of walls and installed a lintel to open up the living/dining area.
We couldn't be happier with the end product for both projects, they look great! He works hard, was very respectful along with always being neat and tidy.

We had 5 rotten window frames repaired by Nathan. From the time of the initial quote, the work was delayed by rain for quite a few weeks, but Nathan was good at checking in by text to remind us he hadn't forgotten our job. Once the weather cleared, Nathan did the work very professionally. He arrived on time, kept a neat and tidy work site and was happy to give advice on various other potential carpentary jobs (e.g deck replacement).

Recently found Melba Building Services and Nathan came and fixed a hole in the roof due to water damage, replaced some warped wood on the Garage frame, installed a side gate and re-sealed the sealant in our shower area

In a nutshell - Nathan exceeded my expectations. Not only would I recommend him without hesitation, we'll be having him back for further work. Skilled, courteous, honest - what more can you ask for?

Removed two old bathroom windows and replaced with new ones: Great result.
Plastered a hole in our fireplace to match with existing chimney breast: Nathan did a fantastic job getting it to blend in with the existing wall and it turned out much better than I expected! Attention to detail and communication with us was great. Nathan was punctual, hardworking and tidied up beautifully afterwards. We were very happy with his work and would be happy to use his services in the future.

We recently decided to use Melba Building Services for our small renovation of our apartment. We wanted to have timber floors installed, skirting boards and a balcony door replaced and also pair of existing internal doors substituted with a pair of french doors. I originally contacted Nathan with the intention of having him replace the doors only, but to my pleasant surprise found out that he was capable of doing the whole job. I've never undertaken anything like this before so had a lot of questions and Nathan was patient, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He was also able to come up with some great solutions for some of the work where I was unsure how to proceed. He was helpful in researching the products involved and was in regular communication throughout the project. The end result was a beautiful job done to the highest standard and his attention to detail was second to none, he was also very organized and tidy which made the whole experience painless.  I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending Nathan to anyone.
