Good location, nice building, play ground is pretty good. Sometimes you have to wait for quite a while in drive thru. usually clean. McDonald's food is as expected really.

Out of all the mcdonalds in Ballarat this one is the better out of the lot. Ever since McDonalds changed how they make hamburgers the service in every McDonalds I have been to has become slow. Bakery Hill isn't fast anymore either but it runs rings around Sebas Wendouree and Sturt St McDonalds

I would have to agree that this is by far the best Maccas in the area. As for the time it takes to prepare the burgers & the effort & care that has to go into them, I don't mind waiting a few brief minutes extra if I know the food preparation is of a high standards. I use my waiting time to relax & unwind after a busy day then the waiting time goes pretty quick.

We choose not to go through drive thru which had about 12 cars waiting in line, but by the time we got out of the restaurant we would have been better in drive thru since about 30 cars would have been served in the time we had been waiting inside. The service was just so slow it was as though the staff had Sunday morning hangovers.

Approximate cost: $6.00

Often it isn't the staff's responsibility to have enough people on in the busy times. It's show good management if everything is going efficiently with lots of happy customers. Again, if management is notified of the lack of enthusiasm then they can change it, otherwise how can they improve the business.

This McDonald's Restaurant is very unique, it's set in a Ballarat historical building, and it's very big with different rooms one even with an old fire place. They have old photos on the walls of the streets in Ballarat pre 1900, which make it very atmospheric. It's mainly a family restaurant but it's mostly filled with kids after school or from the skate park. it's definitely a piece of Ballarat and worth a look!

Approximate cost: $10
