Can't go past the Mawson Lakes Schnitzel. Must be the best value food in Australia. Around $20 for a Schnitzel and salad that could seriously serve a family of four. Food is tasty, massive amount of seating available. A great place to heat and get away from of those sweltering hot summer days.

Approximate cost: $20+

thanks for the review, I haven't been here in such a long time. They still sound great so we will be returning soon.

We eat here regularly, and are always happy with the meals. The servings sizes are great, which means good value for money. Schnitzels are probably some of the best in the North. The menu is extremely varied, something for everyone. The Salt N Pepper Squid is awesome. Definitely worth a visit if you like a good pub meal.

Last time we went here was with a large group and the restaurant was really busy, but we didn't have to wait long for our meals. While we were waiting, we helped ourselves to the complimentary salad bar, which was nice and fresh. The staff were very accommodating as we had a birthday cake to bring out after dinner and they supplied plates & spoons at no extra charge.

I really enjoyed the food, and prices of the drinks weren't too bad either.
I took my son there and they didn't charge me for his drink because I only wanted half a hot chocolate. They treated him very well.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Went here a few weeks ago for a friends 40th!! Got the roast of the day it was tough and dry - couldn`t eat most of the meat, my son ate all his burger so that turned out alright! $9:50 for a stubbie sized "cruiser" was a bit steep though - won`t be tripping over myself to go back to this plac :(

Have dined and drank here many times. The service is usually good and the food is fairly good for a pub. The atmosphere is usually quite good too with many people around especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Approximate cost: $17-$25

Have dined at the hotel on several occasions. One advantage is that I haven't had to book and despite being busy I have always been accommodated without a wait. The menu is wide ranging but can be a bit pricey. Can usually find something on the specials board. The salad/vegie bar is excellent with a good selection. The salads are particularly fresh. Despite being a big dining area, it doesn't get noisy unlike some other venues. the pokie room is well away from dining so this is an advantage. After the meal it was good to sit in a comfy lounge chair with a coffee (or a glass of wine).

Approximate cost: $25

The massive schnitzels are amazing, well worth raving about! I also like the salad bar, it has a great selection and is better equipped than most Ive seen.

Service was pretty average, and food was warm not hot. Wasn't very happy at first but staff were helpful and gave me a new meal. Prices are bit steep also.
