For stall holders and customers alike Mathildas Market in Toowoomba was a total drop out. If you knew it was even on then you were lucky, there was no advertising that people like myself with children or who work would see. It seems the only crowds they attracted were old ladies. After speaking to stall holders they had paid $150 per stall! They were let down terribly by the Mathildas 'PR team'. As a customer the people with stalls were fantastic, the venue however was steamy and no air cons were used even though they had access to them. It was poorly set out and seemed poorly run. I would not recommend to future stall holders or customers to go to Mathildas Markets in Toowoomba. They may only last one more market after the shambles that was made of the first.

This is the best market for different things for children, mostly home made by very clever little people. You will find it busy but worth it and they also have food and entertainment.

I love this market, and just went today. However it was packed!!!! Hardly room to move between the stalls and look at each thing properly. May need to look at a bigger venue soon I think! The crowds made it unpleasant for adults and children and toddlers alike, and probably for stall owners as well to keep an eye on their stock. However, the atmosphere, and bargains that most stall owners offer as incentives to purchase their brands make it a worthwhile experience. Parking in Hawthorn can be attrocious! Great, cant wait until next year to go to the next one!

I loved this market, there are some really unique and lovely gifts and childrens clothing that you can't find in stores. There are enough storeholders to ensure that you will have a variety of items available and everyone is really friendly. The market area itself is really clean and tidy. and stroller friendly.
