the Marion bay Motel is a little Oasis in a lovely small coastal town. the modern touches and design elements to the motel are very well done, and the staff are lovely and friendly, Rosie the dog was a very cute welcome party as well. i would recommend this accomodation to anyone travelling in that direction. we were very happy with our recent stay.

It was fantastic we had everything we needed it was so clean and comfortable to stay in. Robyn went out of her way to buy us tickets to a show that was happening close by. Service was fantastic and rooms were tidied everyday. We will definitely be staying there everytime we go to Marion Bay!

The room impressed us from the very start: clean, large, fresh, decorated with good taste and well equipped. All we needed was there. The motel is metres away from a very nice beach and has a good tavern as a neighbour. Marion Bay is just a 10 minutes drive from the Innes National Park and is a good base for exploring the whole southern Yorke Peninsula. So, the place is extremely convenient, to say the least. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and maintained every day, and the owners, Graham and Robyn, are helpful and extremely approachable. It's the cozy feeling of the countryside together with all comfort one can expect from any famous hotel, for a fraction of that price. On top of all, by staying there, one will be surrounded by fantastically beautiful and unspoiled beaches and landscapes. A must see! No doubt about this! We'll certainly be back.

We purchased a Travel Auction for two nights with an extra one free, it was an absolute delight to stay there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful directing us to sightseeing places and the food at the local hotel was absolutely devine. Thanks heaps will come again

The room was new, well designed with everything we needed & more! Robyn, from managment, was helpful, friendly & accommodating & created very pleasant experience from the start. The location was perfect with the Tavern within walking distance for drinks or a choice of dining or take away & a great place to talk to thelocals. Stuated close to the jetty & boat ramp it was a perfect base to explore Marion Bay or southern Yorke Peninsula. Will recommend it to everyone.

We just missed booking a room by an hour for the holiday weekend so left our telephone number in case a cancellation came along - it did and we jumped at the chance to take the room in the only motel in Marion Bay. The room was impeccably clean and spacious with modern fixtures and fittings. All the comforts you would expect in a luxury hotel room and right next door to the Tavern. We had a great winter break and will be back.

Lovely location, Management were very friendly, and helpful with local knowledge. The rooms are a good size and are the cleanest I have stayed in, comfy firm bed and the sheets are not standard "motel type" these are much better quality and they have been ironed. Amazing these days especially in this price range. Also in the rooms is a folder with information about the area which is helpful and no Bible in the bedside drawer, thank goodness. They also have a cute little dog which is really friendly too. I have already recommended this place to my family and friends, and with luck I will go back again.

The rooms are very new and have a modern feel to them. The service was excellent and the owners were really friendly. It is in a good location as it is close to the beach and the tavern is a short walk. The rooms are quite reasonably priced and the bed was so comfortable.

Approximate cost: $120 per night
