Do not send your child to this school. They have a bully protection program. My son was punched in the head and knocked to the ground in May 2019 resulting in an acquired brain/neck injury and many months of suffering. Before that the same child tried to force his head down the toilet in February 2019 and was regularly punching him in the chest. This was just Grade1. Prep was not much better but a different perpetrator. The best decision I made was to get him out. We’re now seeing what school should be like at a much better school nearby.

Malvern Primary School - don’t like this review? It should be no surprise to you that I didn’t send my son to school to be assaulted and come home with a brain injury. You breached his basic rights as a child to provide a safe environment for him to receive an education. I challenge you to make your school safe again. There should be zero tolerance of this level of serious violence. Show the bullies and their families the door. Time for change.

Malvern primary school is one of the very best in the state. It is the sort of school you would pay to go to. the staff are of very high quality and it has an imaginative program and well resourced amenities. Discipline and motivation are high, and there are quite a wide range of sporting and hobby activities. We are very impressed.
