I employed Lex's Luxury Cleans Balwyn some months ago. Being a 24 hr carer for my 98 year old mother I have little time or energy to clean.
Professionalism and a high standard of cleaning was emphasized at the initial interview.
The agreement was fortnightly cleans on a thursday . I was quickly disappointed by the level of cleaning on the first clean and in fact the cleaning lady employed was not experienced. Her lack of attention to detail was rectified within days. However consecutive cleans the level of care deteriorated. The owner of the company sadly got covid and she left a sms on the day she was to come to clean she would not be cleaning for me until she recovered.
I waited patiently for weeks to hear from her (I did email her friendly sms's asking how she was feeling to no avail ) . Finally weeks later I sent many sms and made many calls to the owner of the company. Not one of my calls or texts were returned. I waited thinking maybe the owner was seriously ill.
Alas months later I have heard nothing
It is disappointing that common manners of returning calls and letting me know our contract was cancelled were not relayed to me. Professionalism and duty of care were not evident in the way I was treated. The general level of cleaning didnt live up the standard promised.
I must be old fashioned to expect a courtesy call to let me know that Lex's Luxury Clean no longer wished to clean for me. I do not recommend this company. We were let down terribly.

Highly recommend! Such a great service , most thorough cleaners I have ever had
