We ordered here before reading other reviews and so were a little unsure what to expect, but our experience was pleasant. For a busy Sunday morning breakfast period, the meals came out in about 10 minutes. The half strength flat white cuppa was a real half strength and lovely taste. The eggs benedict with smoked salmon was a little dearer than other places at $20, but it was presented well, flavour was delicious and the salmon was definitely fresh. The avocado on toast was served nice, the only disappointment was the small amount of brown/bad bits served with it. Other than that, the food was delicious with friendly service.

The owner is rude and pretentious. She obviously think her food is the best and does not understand that customer critics will help her to improve her business. I payed 16 dollars for a salad that had next to no garnishments. The owner ignored my private message on her facebook page, so I decided to post on her public page. Then she deleted my comment. My comment was polite and was letting her know that her 16 dollars main salad, was more like a side dish that was worth around 8 dollars. Her replied was that Australian did not get French food and wanted more healthy food. (I thought it was quite insulting to us....Like were are a bunch of uneducated people). Therefore she decided to serve a plate of lettuce because that is healthy. I had a 2 thin slices of carrot in my plate. Carrot is healthy, give me more! I also had the equivalent of 3 grams of goat cheese in my 'goat cheese salad'....well cheese is a little bit less healthy but it is not fried food either. My conclusion to this experience was: poor management skills, lack of cooking experience (Being French is not enough to be a professional cook - they might have matched too much of My Kitchen Rules...), waaaaay too much proud, and lack of self-reflection will probably take this business down.

Approximate cost: $20

I've never given a low review like this before, but it really wasn't my type of place. The menu is lacking a bit. They do allow some menu modifications, but don't end up giving you everything you ask for. Their plates looked like wooden cutting boards, and while it is a style, it wasn't the most appealing. The ambience wasn't too inviting and it seemed to be quite subdued compared to the higher-quality of restaurants/cafes around it vying for patronage. Wouldn't go back again, but it might suit some people's tastes.

Approximate cost: $18
