Great location and high quality accommodation. The staff seem very professional, and the rooms high quality fittings. You pay the price, especially if you are staying during a busy time in Melbourne. In fact the price is something that would make me look else where, despite liking the hotel.

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea at this place on a total of 5 occasions. The food is good with considerable variety - although the afternoon tea was lacking a good range of hot selections - and the service is satisfactory. Given the "up-market" reputation of the hotel and the prices charged for the meals I felt the service and the overall experiences were not upto the standard I expected. Nevertheless, it was relatively good value for service.

The buffet has a large variety of food. The environment is pretty luxurious. The service is decent, but nothing special. The desserts are fantastic, especially the chocolate fountain. It's quite expensive for the buffet, but it is pretty good.

The buffet here is soooo yummy. They have a great selection of foods and there is ample seafood which I love. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Price is very reasonable

Just a wonderful place for a family birthday party is you want to class things up a bit. The smörgåsbord is mouthwatering and extreamly comprehensive. From meats and curries to an amazing dessert section and a lovely view of the yarra. Worth a go
