An OK place for Laksa if you can't be bothered to travel to Newmarket for a "real laksa". The laksa here are not authentic. The Char kway teow is pretty good though.

Really great laksa here and is not too expensive. The broth is delicious and flavoursome, one of the family's favourites.

laksa bar is very tasty and spicy in flavor, but a place to try the laksa for your cravings.

Love Laksa bar. Whenever I need my laksa crave quenched, this is the place I go and trust for spot on Lak.

Enjoyed some Laksa at the Laksa Bar today for lunch.
Quick service, friendly staff and a nice place to have work lunch.
I ordered the skinny Laksa with seafood for $15.90. Definitely not stingy with the seafood, chock-full of prawns, squid, fish, mussels and was very tasty. My friend had the chicken Laksa and that was $11.90 and she really enjoyed hers, too.
They do have Eftpos facilities but there is a small additional charge of 50c to use it. Wine and beer are also available to purchase.
Definitely will be back to enjoy other items on the menu as they serve more than just Laksa and the different dishes customers had in front of them looked tasty.
Laksa bar can get very busy with the lunchtime workers piling in so be prepared to not be able to seat a group together during these times.
Sign on the counter also announced that Laksa Bar is now also open on weekends for lunch after 11am. But you might want to just check that with them before heading in on your weekend as I only glanced at the sign.
There is only one unisex toilet, but it was very very clean which surprised me.
Overall, a nice place to eat, food is tasty and the service is fast.

Approximate cost: $Under $16

One day I was walking along lt lonsdale street and noticed a new shop called Laksa Bar. I made a mental note to come back next day and try their laksa because I am a laksa lover. I was quite disappointed with the laksa, the broth was very thin and lacks in spices and heat.

Approximate cost: $15

Their food was very tasty, quite authentic Malaysian food. I love the laksa and Mee goreng. With the mee goreng, we had the extra spicy, and it was really spicy. but we love the spiciness.
