This is one of the best French restaurants I have been too. My wife and I stumbled on it as we were staying right near it. It is in a quiet little lane but the service and food is outstanding. I tried snails here for the first time and they were fantastic. We have been back almost every time we have gone back to Sydney and it is yet to disappoint. Great for an intimate evening of great french food.

I had a lunch meeting with a client at La Guillotine and it was my first time there. Fine dining atmosphere and a very nice place. Both of us ordered a 2 course meal with a glass of house wine which is included. I had the snails cooked in garlic butter oil and the seafood crepe. My client had the onion soup with croutons and melted cheese which was delicious as well. Excellent service and the wait staff are good looking and professional. Quite expensive for a 2 course meal but a reasonable price for a fining dining restaurant.

This is an upmarket French restaurant which I was brought to as a birthday treat. I would definitely never go here on my own accord. Very expensive food, which was delicious but not worth the price. I had a beef fillet with a nice sauce which was tender, but it costed $30 something dollars. I had a nice chardonnay which was top of the range. The atmosphere is lovely, very romantic, so it is nice to be brought to on a special occasion or to bring your date to, if you're a big spender.

We came here with another couple, I know this is a flashy place but we didn't come in flashy clothes. The waiter looked us up and down as if we had no money and asked if we had a booking. There was hardly anyone in the place and he took us downstairs, I suppose that he did not want anyone to see us.

The food is overpriced and nothing special. We didn't eat that much cause of the price, we got out of there quick and have some tapas.
