La Boutique is an outlet for Trimex, which stocks prestige makeup, cosmetic and fragrance brands including Clarins, RoC, Thierry Mugler, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne, Laura Mercier, Versace, Annick Goutal, Moschino and many more at discounts of 50-75%.

The outlet store in Rosebery is small and it's best to check their website for opening hours, as these can vary.

They often have big sales, so it's worth signing up to their emailing list to ensure you don't miss out. I've found some amazing bargains over the years. Their Clarins products are great (well, I'm a fan - others may prefer RoC) and there are heaps of top brand fragrances for both men and women. Not to mention eyeshadows, mascaras, lipsticks, glosses, nail varnish, foundation, brush/applicator sets (sometimes), etc. At their sales, they often have other special items, such as RoC bath robes, makeup bags and other goodies that make useful gifts. Like any good sale, you can expect to bump shoulders with many others looking for a bargain, but it's not a complete bun-fight (else I wouldn't bother going - that's for sure!). I once bought some Annick Goutal candles for $5 each - sadly, I was in a rush and grabbed three, else I would have bought heaps more. They usually sell for over $100 each! Unfortunately, this seems to have been a once-off, as I've not been able to find them since. Everyone I know has remarked how divine these candles smell. I'm not a big fan of her fragrances, though - too strong and overpowering for me... but each to her own. Quite often, their big sales (usually held in a nearby warehouse), coincide with events such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Christmas, etc. I generally wait for the sales, but the outlet store also has some good bargains.

Although Trimex has a telephone number and email address, they can't put you through to the La Boutique outlet store - which means you can't call to check if they have stock of a particular product you're after. You just have to take a chance and drive there to see for yourself.
