Worst restaurant I have been to Melbourne. Food was basically inedible (meat was extremely questionable) and even though the staff could see we hadn't enjoyed it they were quick to bring us the overpriced bill and usher us out without even asking how the meal had been. I have seen there have been good reviews but these people must either be friends of the business or it has just deteriorated since those posts were done as our experience was very different and managed to put us off chinese food for quite some time

one of my favorite restaurant of all time.. the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. the venue is great dining.highly recommended even if the location is not so great

Out of the way to find, but certainly the best Chinese restaurant we've found in the area. Yummy fresh food with a few less common dishes, like claypots - fabulous shitake mushrooms. Very busy, family friendly and relaxed.

We found King Yeun because I belong to a dining club through my company (API Lifestyle--Entertainment). This was one of the restaurants that offered a discount when you dined there. When we arrived, we were sat near the door (the place was rather busy). We ordered 2 entrees as well as 2 mains. We showed our card to the waiter and he had no idea what it was about. He got the owner to come over and even he seemed reluctant to give us our discount (25% I think). Oh well. We did try the restaurant again, this time without the card. The food in general is quite good, if not a bit pricey.

It is hard to find in the back of the Safeway carpark, but it is well worth the effort to look. A bit pricier than other chinese restaurants, but this place is one where we are happy to go with friends in the everning, it has nice atmosphere, the good old lazy susans, that make sharing meals with friends so easy, and the specials are always different and interesting.
