Very special. For the visitor, not familiar with the tropics, imagine being shipwrecked on a tropical island with palm trees dense rainforest and white sand. Then make it luxurious x10, and funky but still retain that feeling of living in a tree house. OK, a very posh tree house. Staff are amazing. The food is heavenly. Thoroughly relaxing hidden among a rain forest and right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and prepared to help you in any way. Restaurant has just been renovated and food is top class. They have entertainment on the beach on Fridays where they have a beach hut set up with an open pizza oven where they make pizzas to order and while you waiting you can enjoy a drink or cocktail. They will even set up a romantic dinner for two on the beach with your own personal waiter. They also have yogo certain days of the week. If you want to relax this is the place to go.

very overpriced. When we arrived they didn't know who we were as the booking was put on diff date. For lunch we had similar problem. restaurant was very old fashioned and not enough light would come in. Service was amateur to say the least and everyone seemed lost. BIG F!!!! we ended up having to book hotel in Cairns
