6 reviews about Kelly's Cafe

Kelly's is a lovely cafe and nursery. They do a great roast on Wednesday nights for a reasonable price. But it is not fine dinning as advertised. The food is nice but incredibly expensive. There is no service, you have to order at the counter, there is no licence. So to charge $39 for a small steak and $34 for a pork cutlet is just outrageous.

I have been here 4 times now, and LOVE it! Each time the food has been awesome, and the service just as good - only once would I say that we have had a long wait for our food, and this was for brunch on a weekend when it was quite busy, so I think it was acceptable. I have taken 2 lots of visitors here, and will continue to, I love the surroundings, and I love the food.

Beautiful surroundings as it is attached to a nurseryso it is lovely to go for a walk through the nursey and look at the koi fish and gardens. I thoroughly enjoy breakfast and lunch here. The food has always been lovely. Eggs benedict for breakie is always good and the big breakfast is exactly what it's called BIG! Chicken parmajana and chicken burger are good choices for lunch. I think the prices are reasonable and it is BYO beer and wine so that is also a massive bonus and saving. Great venue for families. Must book on special occasions such as Mothers Day etc as they book out quick.

Approximate cost: $25

We went here for a group lunch, it was a nice setting and we sat out on the verandah area. It's a bit pricey, I got chicken Parmie and it cost over $30 and my hubby got steak burger and chips which was about $25 - pricey for us maybe average for others. Food was decent quality but it did take a while to come out, I know we were a group but there wasn't many others in the restaurant. We ended up going for wander through the gardens, if the gardens weren't there I think we would have been disgruntled at the wait. Overall I probably wouldn't rush back here but if we were looking for somewhere different I would give it another go

Approximate cost: $30

We went there recently with a rather large group. It is a very popular location for meals and I think the serving sizes for some of the dishes, like the pasta, are quite good for the prices they ask you to pay.

Very yummy Teriyaki Fish with rice and asian veg, a subtle hint of ginger was a great touch. Generous serve size. Latte also one of the nicest. May not be the cheapest spot for lunch, but the taste is worth it. The meals were served in about twenty minutes and staff were polite and friendly.
Also lovely surroundings.
