I have known Scott for 15 years when he was a carpenter, and have always done his work since he became a Builder. He is really passionate about extension building, and it shows in the care he takes with his jobs and how thorough he is. A great bloke and a really good operator- highly recommend him and the Katana Team.

The whole building process seemed a bit daunting at the start, but Scott and the team made it seem easy. We thought it would be really hard to live through the extension and were not really looking forward to it, but Katana made it as comfortable as possible and really cared about our comfort throughout. The tradesmen Katana uses are first class, and each person took care of the job they had with care and attention to detail. They all kept a clean worksite, and were friendly and polite which was important to us as we were living in the house at the time. The whole team really made us feel special, and that our home was special also.

My name's Andrew, and Scott helped us with a major renovation of a house we own in South Yarra, Melbourne. It was a big job. It involved various re-stumping, re-rooting, and re-flooring of a new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and heating and cooling system, as well as the outside repair of weatherboard. For the attitude of management, our builder was always helpful, receptive to changes, and efficient. The communication was a strong point. Scott would have at least weekly email updates, often including photos of the work's progress. He always answered the phone. For attention to detail, there were no issues. The finishes were excellent. We were very happy with the level of finish. For responsiveness, if we had an issue or a problem to solve, Scott was very happy to make accommodations and always responded promptly. We love the final renovation. It has transformed the house and made it a very pleasant living environment.
I would recommend Scott to other people. Having found a builder in Melbourne that we can trust, and having found someone that is both easy to communicate with I would definitely use him again.
