After losing my hairdresser to the 'dark side', he became a product rep, I didn't cut my hair for nearly a year. My hair is quite fine, naturally wavy and grows very slowly, so I was really nervous of moving to a new hairdresser. After spending a lot of time trawling through Yelp reviews and checking out website I finally decided to give Juniper Salon a go and the result is that I am writing this review and a very happy customer. They are open on Mondays as well - BONUS - they offer a complimentary follow up hair check service - BONUS and I have a really great new do and am booked in for colour. I had tried a few different salons around my area before I finally found Juniper. I have been back three times now and have had fantastic service each time. At my first appointment, I was really impressed with the time and effort Vicky spent in getting to know me and what I wanted. At my second appointment I received the same level of consultation and service from Vicky. I lightened my hair colour quite a lot at this appointment, and was pleasantly surprised to receive an email a week later to make sure I was still happy with the change! All the girls at the salon seem warm, friendly and genuinely committed to making sure every customer walks out happy. I'm glad to have finally found such a great salon close to home.

After deiciding to go to Juniper based on the reviews from WOMO I was terribly disappointed. When I arrived I showed a photo of what I wanted. After toner being left in for 20 mins, I realised when I got back to the chair that the hairdresser had put dark colourings through my hair instead of the requested blonde and my hair was now a chocolate brown with grey through it. Being on a limited time, I didn't want to sit there for another hour whilst they tried to fix what I had not asked for. They then cut my hair to the length requested - only to find out that it wasn't straight and I needed more off to fix it. There was no so sorry don't worry about paying for the colour. They proceeded to charge me $170 for a colour cut that was not requested and a cut that was not even straight. The person who had originally done my hair wouldn't even come out of the kitchen to look at my hair and to see what could be done - I actually didn't see them again! In the end it cost me another $165 somewhere else to have it rectified. Completely unimpressed.

I have tried so many different salons trying to find a place where both staff and prices are equally fantastic...after being let down so many times in the past and after 2 years of not going to any salon, I decided to try Juniper Salon...and I have to say...I don't have to look any further!!! I have found the perfect place where the ladies are super friendly and make u feel so welcome and take time to understand and listen to what u really want to achieve from ur appointment!!! And their prices are very fair also!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to Kiri! Your fabulous skills and great conversation made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! U took the time to understand exactly and clearly what I wanted and boy, I am so happy and amazed!!! Thanks to Vicki for the stylish cut also!!! U all make a wonderful team!!! I'll be highly recommending u to everyone I know!!! And I will be a regular too now! Thank u for a wonderful cut and colour! feel like a new woman now!!!

I found Juniper Salon through a Google search and formed my first favourable impressions. I put a call into the salon and was further impressed by the warmth and professionalism I received throughout the call. I entered the kitch salon for the first time. The vibe is certainly vintage...but I love it's originality and charm. Best of all though is that you are treated like an individual. All the girls are authentic, warm and most of all professional. Vicki was my stylist and she really got to know me and my hair before she got started. I have not been so happy with a salon and stylist for a very long time. Better still on your first visit they offer a complimentary assessment within 10 days of your first cut just to ensure you and they are happy with a your new hair cut. You also get a fabulous head massage and blow wave on this visit. Price wise it is extremely competitive to other salons I have been to. I have style cut and colour. I have just been back for my second haircut and I was a not disappointed. I highly recommend Juniper Salon.

I followed Vicky here from another salon because she does the most fabulous blond around and I am particularly fussy with my blond, I can't stand brassy! Not to mention the amazing curls she does when I need extra glam! Very happy at this salon, Vicky is brilliant :)

Not only did you perfectly correct the shocking rainbow of colour, but the cut you suggested has really bought back both life and much needed style back into my hair!
My hair looks fantastic and you'd never know the ordeal it went through beforehand! You both did an awesome job at a very reasonable price, and the friendly and professional service was second to none.

Hey four stars from me is pretty special! I like to keep the other one up my sleeve for the champagne etc. Anyway I recently found Juniper (and Vicky) looking online and although tentative at first I am so glad I tested the waters. I am very happy with my cut which was done by Vicky who just knew by looking what I needed. She listened and did exactly what I wanted. I will be going back shortly for a trim up and probably some foils this time. I was happy with the price & the offer of a free blow wave and check within 2 weeks was great (although I didn't manage to get there).So happy to find something local that is good!!
