Purchased a computer from Joyce Mayne. Luke had excellent advice and explained everything in away I could understand. Got what I needed for a great price. They were more than $650 cheaper than Harvey Norman for exactly the same product. He did not try to sell me more than what I needed like a lot of places do. Would highly recommend.
don't mind joyce mayne for a good computer deal or something like that. HATE the way their sales people pounce on you and seem like used car salesmen
the staff were most helpful and very pleasant, and I would shop there anytime I was looking for any items that they sell.

Gotta say that buying my LCD television was so easy after speaking with the electrical sales guys there. They pointed out some bad things about a model I was looking at if I wanted smooth motion and literally saved me from making a big mistake. I got a fair price and free delivery and installation chucked in as I was within the local area, now nobody else was prepared to do that and no other retailer tried to explain the negative things about a model I was looking at al they were focused on was talking it up trying to get me to buy. Joyce mayne were the only retailers that actually asked me what I wanted my tv to do and what I actually watched or used my tele for. I highly commend the guys and girls at joycies maitland and I will only buy my electrical gear from them now.

always good with price and not pushy salespeople either, they spoke to me in plain english and took the time to explain how the product I wanted would work and the difference between various models and brands.
Got my telly there and was looked after by a great salesman who showed me the differance between the lcd tv's that I was considering. Made choosing the right tv easy and I was more than happy with the price and free delivery and install he organised for being a local customer.
We have been in to this store twice, both times with money to spend as we were looking for a specific item. On the first occasion we struck a salesman who really seemed like helping us was a hassle for him. On the second occasion we had to approach the saleswoman, and she answered our questions and left us to it. There was really no attempt to sell the products to us.

I think you must of been very unlucky. I have shoped at Joyce in the past and have always been approached very early in the electrical section each time I have walked in.
Have more trouble getting served at the GG'S at Greenhills when I have purchaced there.
I think you have to kidding. Everytime I have walked in to Joycies I have been pounced on if they are quiet and even if they are busy they make the effort to recognise that they know I am waiting and will be with me as soon as possible.
The good guys on the other hand need a lesson in customer service as they are always too busy talking to each other so I have to agree with Tanyah2 there.
In contrast I have found GG at Greenhills to be fantastic, we have always had really good customer service there (as above having money to spend on specific items). aIt's unfortunate for Joyce Mayne, obviously a lot of people have found them to be good, but we have not on more than one occasion so will not shop there now.
