if you are looking for a reasonably priced, reliable mechanic that works on Saturdays, look no further. Oil change, safety check and spark plugs replaced. $50 under what two other mechanics quoted.

Approximate cost: $130.

Be patient as the mechanics are Asian and translation can be a problem. However rest assured they do have people who speak English and will be able to assist

I needed to have the rear window brake light in my car fixed, it wasn't just a globe, there was no power going to the light. I got a quote from one auto electrician who said approx $220 and as the car is 18 years old and the other two brake lights were working fine I thought no thanks. I drove into JNK and was greeted by a young man who asked how they could help. I told him the problem and he had a quick look and told me if I could leave the car with them for a couple of hours he could fix it. When I asked how much he said $50. Now this was a Saturday and they were open 9am until 6pm, so I came back at 2pm they rang me a 3.30pm and I picked up the car with the brake light all fixed for $50 as promised. Chinese staff were all very courteous with several of them speaking English quite well. Bonus that they also do most mechanical jobs and air conditioning services and are open all day saturday

Approximate cost: $50
