I have flown Jetstar once from Sydney to Gold Coast. The plane was quite cramped but for the cheap price you cant expect to much more. The staff were friendly and the flight was on time. Plane was clean and neat.

We started travelling with Jetstar about 2 years ago and also subscribe to their Friday Frenzy sale emails. We have always had good cheap deals and good service. Booking online , printing your own boarding pass and choosing your own seat are great advantages that you can do from the comfort of your own home.

I mostly use Jetstar for domestic travel. Twice the original flight times have been rescheduled for a less convenient time (a few hours before/after), although plenty of notice was given. Last month the flight to my holiday left 30 minutes late due to computer problems with the plane and the flight home was delayed 20 minutes. The staff have always been apologetic and polite. I check in on the computer so no need to queue up for a boarding pass.

Soooo easy to book flights over the internet, show your I.D. & your on the plane (usually board at Avalon) - never had a problem with the booking, the flight, delays, or the service. For the price, it's a wonderful option.

they are cheap but they fly to low .. but apart from that great service .. which is the most important .. also they are nice

I've only flown with Jetstar twice but have been sorely disappointed both times. Whilst they ARE a "discount" airline, you don't expect budget returns. The staff were atrocious: rude, unhelpful, slovenly...the service was terrible. Not to mention that if you don't check in within 30 minutes of your departure time you forfeit your airfare, yet if they run an hour late you get nothing! And they give you attitude when you ask how late you will arrive at your destination for accommodation purposes - we almost couldn't get into our apartment as a result. I'll NEVER fly with Jestar again - Virgin Blue all the way.

Planes are ALWAYS delayed, everytime we have flown with them. Will be taking virgin next time! Cheap airfares, but never on time to take off, and never on time for arriving. Ruins your holidays.

I have used Jetstar from Avalon Vic on numerous occasions and have never experienced any problems whatsoever. Staff are friendly & helpful and the "Special Deals" that are offered make flying inexpensive and a pleasant experience. Always great value for money.
