Delicious Lebanese meal for reasonable prices. Plus the selection of sweet desserts or traditional jezve prepared coffee makes it really great experience.

Love the food here, one of the better Leb restaurants I have been too with a great selection. I don't mind the ambience as I notice some others weren't happy with it - each to their own. Food is really tasty, authentic Lebanese, love the dips to start with - super tasty and fresh - gets your taste buds going. Loved the lamb and the fatoush salad. Def be going back!

Was here on the weekend - had: mixed platter, minced with tahini, falafel, tabouli.
Love lebanese food and the best thing from here is the Kafta and Chilli sauce rocks.

The mince with tahini was on the dry side. Overall - the mixed platter was as good. Same can be said of the felafel. I found the accompaniments a bit salty. Interestingly, after we finished, the waitress very quickly removed the lebanese bread from our table. At somewhere else customers have the option of taking this home with them.

The lighting of the place was a bit on the dark side. I was definitely not a fan of the flat screen TV on the wall. It works in some restaurants and pubs. I'm still not sure if it works here (if it had been turned on).

I suspect the ambience of the restaurant may have been improved if the lighting was brighter (to give it a more utilitarian feel) or the decor improved in line with the darker lighting.

Service was efficient and friendly, I felt value for money was better than somewhere else.

Jasmin1's is easily one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Sydney. My first encounter was at the Auburn restaurant (which tragically burnt down mere weeks later) but the Leichhardt one is even better, set in a more ambient environment. It's also home to the best waitress I have ever had.

This is the place to go to get your money's worth. For under $20, you can get an enormous meal cluttered with just about everything you love about Middle Eastern food. I have to admit my interaction with the menu is quite limited, because the same thing I get every time is just too good to pass up each time I go in there.

I typically opt for the Mixed Grill or Lamb Platter, which is a big plate of breads, chicken and lamb skewers, kafta, falafel, hummus, baba ganouj, pickles, seasoned bread and tabouli - all for about $17. They also give you a stack of Lebanese bread with both garlic sauce and chilli sauce - on the house. The value is unbelievable.

I compare Leichhardt's interior with Auburn's favourably because it's a lot cleaner. It's not particularly breathtaking (although there is a large TV screen at the front constantly playing Lebanese music video clips which is a nice touch) but it looks and feels like a restaurant, whilst the latter had more of a cafeteria style.

The waitstaff are quite friendly. As said earlier, the best waitress I've ever had works here - just in polite small-talk she was interesting, attentive and very funny, having my friend and I literally laughing out loud for some time (as opposed to the awkward faux-laughter you'd typically tend to give anyone who tries to have a personality whilst serving you). She even remembered us just the second time we went in. The other waiters are also friendly and attentive, making sure you enjoy your food without being disruptive or in-your-face.

Finally, every meal ends with a complimentary sweet tea - quite possibly one of the most delicious hot beverages I have ever had in my life. I had asked the waitstaff at Auburn how it's made and they refused to tell me, but here they were happy to rattle off the main ingredients. It's definitely a fantastic way to end a fantastic meal.

No matter where you live in Sydney, be sure to hit up Jasmin1's. You will not be disappointed.

Fresh and tasty dips and salads .The Kaftas were the highlight, and the baba ghanoush was the best I have tasted. The food was supplied with a complimentary plate of pickles and some lebanese bread, which all were fresh and tasty.Loved it.
